To search the Bible for a particular word in this study, just click on the following link Concordance and type in the search word or words you wish to find; for example "God," and then what you want to use to help your search, for example; KJV with "Strong's Numbers," and then what part or all of the Bible you wish to use to search in; for example the "whole Bible," and then click "Find." After the verses are pulled up, just click on the word you are searching for, for example "God", in the verse to get its definition.

(The Study of the Bible) Special Revelation

A. Sources of Knowledge - Scripture
1. Illumination- the ability God gives humanity to see beyond its own understanding. (Eph.1:18)

2. Revelation (I Cor. 14:6, Eph. 1:17) There are 2 types of revelation; natural and special.

3. Inerrant / Inspiration (II Tim.3:16) Read (Psalm 119) where it mentions 36 times about the power of “Thy Word.”

4. Prophecy (II Pet. 1:20, 21)

5. Historical the Bible is also placed within an historical context that must be examined in order to determine its context. It is not some mythical literature that is apart from human history.
