Giving Options

Online Giving and Electronic Giving Options:

Dear Faith Friend,

Thank you for your interest in the electronic giving options that are currently being offered at the Faith United Methodist Church.  The e.service vendor for Faith Church is VANCO Services.  Contributions made to Faith Church through VANCO Services are automatically deposited into the church’s bank account and posted to the proper bookkeeping account. 

All of us must be absent from our weekly church services from time to time.  When we are absent, so are our contributions.  Therefore, unlike church expenses, church income tends to be inconsistent. Your use of these alternate giving options, especially in your absence, will be of great help in providing the church a steady flow of income with which it can pay bills and support its on-going missions and member programs. 

Faith Church is currently supporting two types of electronic giving:

1. On-line Giving – accepts donations on-line as ordered by the contributor. This totally flexible vehicle for on-line giving can be accessed by clicking here.  On-line giving provides the contributor the ability to send one-time contributions to the church electronically from the user’s bank account.  By setting up a password protected personal profile, a member may log in at any time to make a donation or view a personal giving history.  Contributions may be made to the funds listed on the donation page shown on the Faith web page under On-line Giving in the Giving Menu.

 

2. Electronic Funds Transfer – automatically transfers donations from the contributor’s bank account to Faith Church on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis.  Upon completion of an authorization form bearing the contributor’s envelope number and the amount of the periodic contribution, VANCO will automatically & electronically withdraw the stated contribution from your bank account and transfer it into Faith’s bank account.  Contributions made under this format will continue until the user changes or stops the service.  The church financial secretary will supply you with the EFT Authorization Form upon your request.
