Twice a year, we offer the opportunity to have people who attend our church the choice to unite with our church family through membership. It is always exciting to meet with new prospective members who have tried many different churches, and now have found a new home at Faith. To hear their encouraging words, and how Faith Church has already ministered to them, certainly motivates our leadership to realize that God is working in the lives of this church family in many different ways.
But do you ever wonder what people are looking for in a new church home? What are the factors that dictate to a person the criteria of selecting where they will worship? From our recent new members, these are the responses they have shared with me:

Uplifting, worshipful music
Encouragement and hope for everyday living
New friendships and relationships created
A place to be involved and serve others
A place we can invite our family to join us!
As I have said many times before,
we are not a perfect church…not even close, but we do offer many opportunities
to grow in our faith and build our lives into the lives of others. I am excited
about the ministry of Faith Church through the people of God. Thank you for
all you do…you are making a difference for the Kingdom!
