Better Together is coming! You have been hearing those words during the announcements, and have been reading about it on the screen and in the bulletin. I am excited about what is God going to be doing during our small group outreach ministry this September and October in the life of Faith Church.
But what is Better Together / 40 Days of Community? There will be seven important messages that I will be sharing with the congregation; there will be an opportunity to be involved in a 6 week small group ministry, there will be the choice of being involved in an outreach / ministry project, and also spend some time learning a few new Bible verses and promises about loving one another.
Understand this…we need each other! We were not created to be Lone Rangers or to live alone on an island! We were created by God to share, and to encourage, and to meet needs around us regardless of what those needs may be. Be sure and be with us for our Better Together Kick-off Banquet on Wednesday, September 15th for a free dinner, and a concert by the King Pins, an oldies band featuring several from our church family. It is going to be a great evening. Don’t miss it!
